Unreserved with Rosanna Deerchild: Canada’s complicated history with the Métis

In this episode, Rosanna Deerchild discusses the history of the Métis people and how the barriers this community experiences cannot be understood without knowing about their history and ongoing exposure to colonization. Some of the issues covered in this podcast are the Métis Scrip that made this community primarily landless; loss of culture; formations of side road and railway lines; communities as a form of resistance; and healing.
