My Auntie survived residential school. I need to gather her stories before she’s gone | Inendi

During the pandemic there was a real threat of losing Elders in communities, so Sarian Fox, who is an activist in
Indigenous communities, interviewed her aunty, a residential school Survivor. In this documentary, she talks about the pain that came from being stolen and removed and placed in an abusive environment. It explores the healing, the community, and resiliency that Indigenous people embody, and looks into the impacts COVID-19 had and the importance of listening to our Elders.
